Being used alongside the Yanmar engines we have always been heavily involved with the servicing and repair of Mercruiser drives, we have attended dealer training courses and also have Barrus support whenever required.
we also maintain many Mercruiser diesel and petrol engines.

We are the local Volvo Penta specialists for Poole, Dorset. We employ staff who have been main dealer trained in the old and new Volvo Penta engine and sterndrive range. We pride ourselves in our ability to provide main dealer service, skills and knowledge at a more affordable cost, we service, repair and rebuild all engines and sterndrives and are often sent nationwide for our reliable services.

Hamilton Jet
We are the local Hamilton specialists for Poole, Dorset. We have many years of experience in servicing and repairing most models of their jet drives, our customer base consists of leisure users, commercial operators and superyacht tenders. We have the skills and knowledge to carry out the most complex of tasks and are often sent nationwide for our reliable services.

Arneson Drives
​
Here at Purbeck Marine we work on a large variety of different drive systems, one specifically being the world famous high performance Arneson Drive system. Gary in his early marine engineering racing days looked after many high performance Arneson Drives, this skill has been reused here at Purbeck Marine as we do many large Arneson Drives for the Ministry of Defence, we not only carry out servicing and repairs but we have written specialist training courses that Gary has given.
We have also carried out some full rebuilds of triple Arneson ASD16 drives fitted to 100ft plus Sunseekers.

MMP-I Propellers
We are an authorised MMP-I propeller & stern gear sales and repair centre we can supply inboard, outdrive and shaft propellers and also most stern gear products to go with them, we can organise balances and repairs and are able to have old propellers digitally scanned to ensure the new ones are supplied correctly and perform as it should.
